Welcome to Wags 2 Riches!
We are a small non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is involved in rescue. We help between 50 - 75 animals per year with the support of our amazing team of fosters and rescuers on the island of Puerto Rico.

Our Mission
At Wags 2 Riches, we rescue dogs and cats from the streets giving them a second chance at the life they deserve by providing a safe environment and veterinary care while preparing them for travel to the mainland from the island of Puerto Rico.
Nurturing
They will live in the home of one of our foster partners often with other kitty and pup siblings until they are 100% healthy, socialized, and ready for their new lives.
All of our adults are sterilized and, if the kittens and puppies are old enough before transport, they are sterilized pre-travel.
All of them come with their health certificate and all of our dog and kitty rescues will go to their furever home ready to start a new life!
Help Our Cause
In rescue, we are constantly raising funds to prepare each rescue. We never know if they will have underlying conditions until their first vet visit. We are solely responsible for the costs associated with this work. We do not have brick and mortar or staff overhead and we are a registered 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization.
It is our responsibility to treat whatever medical condition they may have. This can take months and often does.
Each healthy rescue, canine or feline, including transport, often costs between $300.00 - $500.00.
A rescue in treatment for heartworm, sterilization, vaccines and travel can costs upwards of $1,020.00.
